Paying taxes for the first time!

Waseh, paying taxes can be quite bewildering, especially when the rules and the methods change yearly.  But anyway, this is what I did for 2017. So all ye first-time taxpayers next year, hopefully they aren't going to change the rules, so you could actually find this guide useful.  My salary didn't even meet the minimum threshold of taxable income (LOL), but I thought it safe to just declare my salary la, just in case kan.  --  1. First things first, get the EA form from your HR department or boss. Make sure all the details are correct. 2. Okay here's the thing, for first time taxpayers you've got to personally go to a LHDN office to register your e-Filing account.  Here's the link to find out where's the nearest office 3. When there, you've got to register your account using the info provided from your EA form. Remember to take down your e-Filing pin number.  4. First times can be fun and exhilarating, and also a little scary.  When I stepped out into adulthood, looking for work and trying to navigate the scary world of bills and taxes and loans and managing time and car repairs, what I was always frustrated about was the lack of info in the internet. Can be so pening tau.  Sometimes, I just feel like an ikan bilis sesat, a small fry lost in the big sea.  Anyhow, I've learnt a few things along the way - and trying to document them one by one, as they come along.  Hope you enjoy, and find these things useful!
